Bubblegum Pink, Tropical Tango, Clear Coconut or Strawberries and Cream: whatever your taste you can be sure good ol’ Barry M has got it covered with this new range of lip gloss wands.
The new range features nine gorgeous shades, each with their own delicious scent. The easy-on gloss is smooth on the lips and despite the smell and taste; it won’t spend a lifetime on your hips. It will however take up long term residency in your make-up bag.
My favourite is the eye-popping Bubblegum Pink; the colour is perfect for summer and has that unmistakeable, feel-good smell. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been kissed more whilst wearing it ;-)
Now available in Boots and Superdrug or online at www.barrym.com.

We like Jen’s relaxed, feminine style – her layered New Look dress featuring oh-so-summery florals works well with her fresh yellow cardigan from Portobello Market. Pale yellow is a great colour for showing off a summer tan, something that Jen has down to a T.
Jen’s sandals are from New Look; they look fab with bare legs and give the outfit the edge it needs to prevent it becoming overly cutesy.
Our favourite thing about Jen’s outfit has got to be the bag. It’s all about the bag. A classic style and quality leather, the bag was bought by Jen’s mum many years ago in Egypt - a proper vintage gem.
As with most vintage items, to wear them best you need to use your initiative: pick key pieces that fit well with what's currently in fashion. Don’t overdo it and choose vintage pieces that you can wear with what you’ve already got. Think shape, style and colour and avoid anything that makes you look like your granny.

Check out this bad boy from topshop.com, a purple sequin frenzy of absolute gorgeousness (£50). The perfect Ibiza party frock for this weekends Radio 1 big bash. Which I might just add Fashion Victim is checking out… so watch this space for some cool street style… the Ibiza way!
With the credit crunch continuing to be taking it’s toll on our cash flow we need to look at ways of making the pounds go further. A great tip from those in the know on how to keep that just left the salon look longer is Silver Shampoo…
If your blonde hair is looking a little brassy put off that expensive trip to the hairdressers with the new Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hairtherapy Amino Cell Rebuild Color Save shampoo. Containing silver pigment the shampoo neutralises yellow tones and leaves you with a more sophisticated ashy effect. The Color Save shampoo (£8.65) and conditioner (£9.85) strengthens and moisturises hair too, adding shine and freshness to coloured hair. Available from salons or online at Schwarzkopf.co.uk. We love this little gem and think it is well worth the investment, used once a week or every two weeks depending on how often you wash your hair, it will prolong your colour for at least another three weeks!
We are brimming with joy at the sight of Stella McCartney's cutesy cartoon campaign for her new Autumn/Winter 09 collection. Featuring Bambi and Thumper this animated add is sure to appeal to your inner child whose fond memories of classic Disney films are recoiled. We would love to see the Little Mermaid with Arial and Sebastian under the sea, or Cinderella or the Seven Dwarfs; it is all just so magical and wonderful, with cherries on top and glass slippers.
A furniture company with a difference, we’re wondering why we haven’t heard of Bambienti before. Contemporary furniture, made from bamboo - the range of seats, tables and home accessories is sustainable, fairly traded and really quite cool.
Whoever thought bamboo was just something panda’s find tasty is missing out big-time in the style and eco stakes. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet and is extremely hard-wearing and resilient, as well as having antibacterial properties. It can be used in construction, furniture making and even clothing making it very versatile indeed.
We recently discovered Bambienti and have been impressed by their range of products; determined to catch some English sun this year, we’ve been mulling over this folding deck-chair. Bright, fun and right up our street.
I loved a bit of Cheryl last year on X Factor, but in my opinion her fashion credentials have deteriorated somewhat this season. Blogs and fashion mags seem to be going crazy over her, but I think she looks like Posh Spice circa Baden Baden 2006. I'm not loving the super svelte eyebrows, I'm not loving the chav-tastic gold teddy necklace (even if it is Vivienne Westwood) and whats with the ripped jeans and suede vest jacket. Yes in theory they are all the rage, but I'm just not getting it. Tell us what you think below...
Vas is das?! I'm not sure Rihanna's new do is one we'll all be rushing out to copy. The singer stepped out in New York yesterday, having shaved both sides of her head, leaving a punky mohican. Do you think she'll regret it?

This cool looking guy caught our eye on the streets of Brighton: wearing a retro jacket and on trend chequered shirt, the thing we love most about Darren’s outfit is his trainers. The black and white design and clever edging on the laces makes the detail look as though it’s been drawn on. Available from Size? the Puma Mid Factory 917’s have a strong pop art feel which help to justifying their 'Factory' tag, the name of Andy Warhol's Manhattan studio from 1962 through to 1968. http://www.size.co.uk/
Arrogant Cat was established in 2001 by Somi and fans of its eclectic fashion include Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham. Due to launch in September is a set of feline fragrances from the cult brand, with unique cat’s eye designs in two scents, one for day and a richer more intense concentration for night. ‘Dawn’ and ‘Dusk’ reflect the duality to a woman’s personality, and the sophisticated, strong perfumes are a reflection of the modern, empowered woman. The cats eyes are extremely intriguing, if not a little freaky, and they are sure to stand out on any dressing table. These collectables can be found in Selfridges from September and are available nationwide from October at £69.
With Autumn-Winter 09 collections creeping into magazines and corners of stores, many retailers are beginning to clear old stock, making way for new. Standard procedure, but one that can make us feel as though we’ve been cheated out of a summer. Looking at things positively, we have lots of new styles, colours, shapes and accessories to get excited about and more imminently we have the mid-season sales to keep us busy.
With many weeks of summer (hopefully) ahead of us, countless festivals yet to attend and many warm occasions to grace with our presence, we still have plenty of time to make the most out of Summer 09 fashions - many of which are currently going for around half their original price.
Another great thing about this middle-period is that we have access to next seasons’ fashions so we can pick transition items in the sale that will see us through the next few months in style, whilst saving some pennies in the process.
Some super sales we have picked up on include the ASOS 70 per cent off bonanza, 50 per cent off at Topshop and Warehouse and multiple money-off offers at Miss Selfridge.
One thing to watch out for when sale shopping online is whether they have the item in your size; all too often I have been over-excited by a gorgeous item at an even more gorgeous price, only to realise my size is out of stock. A good tip to avoid disappointment is to search sale items by size, it also saves a lot of time. Websites such as Topshop do this automatically, but with others this is not always the case.
Another good sale shopping tip is to avoid buying an item just because it is a great bargain. A piece that has a massive amount of money off is not a bargain if you never wear it. Bear in mind what’s in your wardrobe and opt for sale items that will go with what you already have.
Shout out to all you coloured haired girls out there, if you haven't noticed the summer sun has finally risen its long awaited shine, and although we are truly grateful for actually having a summer time, for now anyhow, we must alert all those whose collars and cuffs don't match. Protect yourselves...don't forget your hair! SPF up your skin for sure but UV protect your locks as well. A quick spritz in the morning is all it takes to give hair the helping hand it needs to remain frizz free and sun resistant. Using a protection spray helps to reduce colour fade and gives protection from salt and chlorine damage. But don't just use your hair mist on holiday, this summer keep split ends at bay and look after the only hair you actually want to grow! We've found the top 3 heat defenders to protect your hair from sun and environmental damage, without breaking the bank.
Not only is Lola my favourite girls name but it's now also my favourite fragrance. The gorgeous, new summery scent from Marc Jacobs is set to launch next month. Girls who love Daisy will love this posy shaped bottle in a divine shade of purple with decorative petal deatailing. The gold neck infuses a modern twist on the rest of the classic shaped bottle and the smell is a mix of vampy elegance and femininity.
The sun is shining and we're going green with a few of our favourite treats.
