We like Jen’s relaxed, feminine style – her layered New Look dress featuring oh-so-summery florals works well with her fresh yellow cardigan from Portobello Market. Pale yellow is a great colour for showing off a summer tan, something that Jen has down to a T.
Jen’s sandals are from New Look; they look fab with bare legs and give the outfit the edge it needs to prevent it becoming overly cutesy.
Our favourite thing about Jen’s outfit has got to be the bag. It’s all about the bag. A classic style and quality leather, the bag was bought by Jen’s mum many years ago in Egypt - a proper vintage gem.
As with most vintage items, to wear them best you need to use your initiative: pick key pieces that fit well with what's currently in fashion. Don’t overdo it and choose vintage pieces that you can wear with what you’ve already got. Think shape, style and colour and avoid anything that makes you look like your granny.
